Founded in 1976, the firm has offices in the major commercial centres in Botswana: Gaborone and Francistown. Grant Thornton, a member firm of Grant Thornton International, was established in the year 1976.It is one of Botswana’s leading firms of Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisers. The firm has 7 partners, 8 service lines and over 120 efficient staff members. Over the years, the practice has grown to become a majority citizen owned firm in this country and is now having two offices and 7 departments. We are considered in the same league with the big four firms in Botswana. Acumen, as it was known earlier, has been associated with international firm network since 1992 and is presently a member firm of Grant Thornton. We take pride in being the only locally grown firm to have grown to this status whereas the other big four firms were set up here with their international affiliations.
