Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates is an indigenous law firm founded in 1987 under the name Iseme & Company Advocates by the late Michael Josphat Iseme. In 1993, James Kamau joined the partnership and the firm changed its name to Iseme, Kamau & Company Advocates. In the year 2000, the addition of William Maema to the partnership saw the firm's name change to Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates. Kamau Karori joined the partnership in the year 2002 after the merger of the firms of Iseme, Kamau & Maema, Advocates and Kamau Karori & Company Advocates. The firm continues to grow and today has 5 Partners and 9 qualified Associates as assisting advocates.
