Stauros Financial LLC was started with two main goals in mind - First and foremost, to honor God in all we do both personally and professionally. Stauros comes from the Greek word, originally meaning "upright stake", which in the New Testament names the device on which Jesus was executed and is usually translated as "cross". By symbolically placing our company 'at the foot of the cross', we are continually reminded of this commitment, as well as our second purpose - to treat others, including their financial goals and dreams, as we ourselves would like to be treated. We believe that this "Golden Rule" is a foundational principle of serving others and should be the guidepost for our relationship with clients. We believe this aligns our practice's goals with the goals of our clients and we strive towards this ideal on a daily basis. It's one of the reasons that Stauros operates almost exclusively on an advisory basis, rather than a commission or sales approach.
