Ortec Contabilidade
The firm was founded in 1967 by Fernandes Frederico Longo. In 1989 Iran Vicente França Reis was advanced to partner. Both partners have more than 30 years of accounting experience. Other key employees are the two lawyers who comprise the firm's legal department: Fernandes's son, Dr. Fernando Frederico de Camargo Longo and Fernando's wife, Dr. Cristiane Lutz Kreutz. Fernando is fluent in English, while Christiane is fluent in Spanish. Both receive their law degrees in 1996, and this December Fernando will also complete his studies for a B.S. in Accounting. It is noteworthy that many of Ortec's 120 clients have been loyal patrons for most of Ortec's four decades of business. Clients are engaged in diverse sectors of business although a majority come from three fields: medical offices, clinics and associations; services; and non-profits. They also have industrial clients in the plastics, chemicals and graphics fields. Ortec's business is spread fairly evenly over tax, audit, and employee services. The firm received the Top Business Award for Southern Brazil three time in the current decade and have a strong reputation in the region.
