Management fee
This is the annual fee paid to the General partner.

It is a fixed fee that a Mutual Fund manager charges investors for his services and work with the fund. It is typically a percentage of limited partner commitments to the fund and is meant to cover the basic costs of running and administering a fund. Management fees tend to run in the 1.5 per cent to 2.5 per cent Range, and often scale down in the later years of a partnership to reflect the GP's reduced workload. The management fee is not intended to incentivise the investment team - carried Interest rewards managers for performance.
