Market-Linked Deposit (MLD)
A market-linked Deposit is a form of Deposit account (usually a time Deposit) where the Interest rate paid on the funds in the account is linked to the Interest rates prevailing in a chosen market.

When Interest rates rise, so does the return on the Deposit. If they fall, the Interest rate paid remains at the rate paid when the account was opened.
