History:

Carter & Carter Financial was founded in 1979 to service the growing community need for financial planning. At the time, “Financial Planning” was a relatively young and unheard of profession. In 1980, Ken and Donna opened their “Independent Financial Planning” business with a primary focus on increasing assets and lowering taxes.

As their reputation for providing an excellent recipe of tax and investment services grew, the Carter’s were profiled as an independent financial planning team in two Loren Dutton books: “Your Book of Financial Planning” (1983), a consumer’s guide a to better financial future, and “The Financial Planner: A New Profession” (1986). Ken and Donna Carter still act as the company’s “Good Will Ambassadors.”
