AmBank opened for business in the summer of 1996. AmBank was organized by long time bankers from Utah County. The founders brought together investors confident in community banks and the positive impact they make on the local community. Many of these individuals were part of another successful local bank, Wasatch Bank. AmBank was founded for the purpose of providing local community banking services to our friends, neighbors and associates.

AmBank employees are dedicated, knowledgeable professionals who have a reputation for fair dealing, integrity and community involvement. They are community oriented and regularly show that commitment by being involved in organizations like local schools and universities, Kids on the Move, Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross, United Way, Utah Valley Home Builders and many other groups.

AmBank provides deposit products for consumers and businesses alike. We strive to provide excellent customer service by providing competitive loan and deposit products. AmBank provides consumer loans, home equity loans, mortgage loans, small business lending, SBA lending, residential construction and commercial real estate lending. During the short time that AmBank has been in operation, the company has invested in projects across Wasatch County, Utah County, and the Wasatch front. On the business side, Ambank has funded projects ranging from building additions to multiple building projects. We have been able to do this because the Directors and management of the company live and work in the communities we serve.
