Overview:

Stolz & Associates, PS originally started as a traditional CPA firm. After time, as tax-only professionals, we felt that we were only recording our client’s history, not helping them make their history. Evolving into a wealth management firm in 2001, we gave life to company that believes in an approach to asset management that includes investment consulting and advanced planning.

Financial Planning
Financial advice is everywhere. Every time you turn on the TV or open a newspaper, there’s someone saying they know the secret to your financial success – all you have to do is pay to attend their seminar. However, a financial plan is not a one-size-fits-all idea.
At Stolz & Associates, we believe in getting to know our clients before we give any advice. Everyone has different goals. Whether that means sending your kids to college, buying a vacation home, or making sure your money lasts through retirement, these things must be incorporated into your financial plan. You’re not the same as everyone else, and your financial plan shouldn’t be either.

Wealth Management
Wealth Management is the combination of solid financial planning and coordinated investment management. Our investment philosophy is centered on an efficient market view of the stock markets. In this view, the best way to add value over conventional benchmarks is to structure portfolios along the dimensions of expected returns. For equity portfolios, expected returns are increased by giving greater weight to small cap, low relative price, and high direct profitability firms. If you try to invest by hiring a money manager to capture mispricings, you have a difficult challenge: First, you have to be able to identify successful managers in advance, and second, you have to hope that any fees they charge are reasonable.
We believe that our philosophy provides a better investment experience. Our approach is transparent and easy to explain because it relies on basic valuation methods and extensive empirical research, and it is validated by a long track record of implementation.
