Overview: 

All individual equity portfolios are tailored to the individual needs and goals of our clients. In selecting securities for use in these client-specific portfolios, the initial screening process is designed to ferret out companies with superior business models, dominant market positions, and strong balance sheets. Quantitative and qualitative analysis is then used in an effort to determine and verify valuation and growth characteristics. Remaining fully invested, we seek to manage downside risk through diversification by sector, industry, and company and dispassionately sell securities upon the achievement of predetermined profit targets, early recognition of selection errors or deteriorating fundamentals.We make no attempt to time markets, market segments, or sectors.

In addition, should a client currently possess a portfolio of individual equities, we will analyze each holding to ascertain whether it has a place in the portfolio going forward. Our goal is to utilize as many of the client’s existing holdings as possible and reposition the remaining positions as tax-efficiently as possible. Each of our individual equity clients truly owns a customized portfolio tailored to his or her specific goals and needs.

Objectives
There is no singular investment portfolio appropriate for all investors. The optimal portfolio depends on, among other things, the amount and timing of cash flow needs, tax considerations, time horizon, risk tolerance, investment experience, and market conditions. Therefore, investment decisions must be based on the client’s goals and specific facts and circumstances. Through this objective process, a client’s critical factors are analyzed and positions optimized to achieve those goals.
