Siguler Guff & Company is a multi-strategy private equity investment firm which, together with its affiliates, has over $10.0 billion of assets under management. Founded in 1991 within PaineWebber, Siguler Guff became an independent firm in 1995. Its clients include corporate and public employee benefit plans, endowments, foundations, government agencies, financial institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Siguler Guff manages and co-manages several direct investment private equity funds and multi-manager funds, each targeted at carefully defined areas of market inefficiency. The Firm also provides discretionary private equity advisory services through Siguler Guff Advisers, a federally registered investment advisor.

Since its founding, Siguler Guff has focused on identifying market inefficiencies and areas of capital starvation and creating efficient solutions to capture them.

Siguler Guff is one of the largest, and longest-standing, firms actively making investments in the fast-growing and opportunistic markets of Russia and the former Soviet Republics. Additionally, Siguler Guff raised a fund to buy loans from the RTC in the early 1990s and was an early pioneer in the venture lending & leasing business where the firm co-managed a series of successful funds beginning in 1994.

In addition to its direct investment activities, Siguler Guff has been a leader in the development of highly value-added and specialized multi-manager funds that target market inefficiencies within private equity and allows its investors to allocate capital tactically to focused strategies.
