Overview:
Founded in 1929 as the Malden G & E Credit Union, Secure Credit Union has a long history of providing quality financial services to its members. Initially serving the employees of Massachusetts Electric Company and Boston Gas Company. Today, Secure Credit Union has expanded its field of membership to include not only Employees of the Utilities and their families, but additionally all those who live or work in Malden, Medford, Melrose, Revere, Saugus, Stoneham and Wakefield and their families. Over the years, we’ve seen a remarkable growth in both services and membership. With a strong membership base, we have been on the cutting edge, earning high marks and strong loyalty from our members. At Secure Credit Union, our members are our most valuable asset. As a financial cooperative, we operate solely for our members’ benefit and this commitment is the standard by which we measure our success. We want your experience to be one of unequaled value.
As a Secure Credit Union member, you have the privilege of receiving the best products and services for all your financial needs. Traditional services such as checking and savings accounts, credit and debit cards, loans and mortgages, U.S. Savings Bonds and Travelers Cheques are combined with cutting edge options like Online Banking with BillPayer, E-Statements, online digital check images, and online Credit Card access, in order to provide as flexible a package of financial services as you’ll find in much larger institutions.
