Overview:

On November 10, 2004, employees, stockholders, and customers observed the 40th Anniversary of Dacotah Banks, Inc. (DBI). That same year, our Aberdeen-based bank holding company, which also manages several insurance agencies and title companies, passed the $1 billion assets mark.

With locations in dozens of hometowns, over 400 employees, and over 40,000 customers, DBI remains the largest locally owned and locally chartered banking system in North and South Dakota. NOTE: At the beginning of 2006, we received regulatory approval to open a fourth branch in Sioux Falls, SD, and our company’s first branch in Dickinson, ND.
