First State Bank of Bedias is an independent community bank serving Grimes County, Texas and surrounding counties. The Bank proudly celebrated 100 years of continuous operation during 2007 and remains one of the few locally owned and managed financial institutions in the area. In an era that has seen hundreds of small community banks acquired by mega-banks, First State Bank of Bedias is proud to have the same name as when it was chartered a century ago.

First State Bank of Bedias maintains two full service banking facilities. The Bank’s main office is located at 22201 Highway 90 North, Bedias, Grimes County, Texas, located at the intersection of State Highway 90 and FM Road 1696. You may speak to a representative by phoning 936-395-2141. For additional convenience, the Bank opened its Kurten Banking Center in April of 2007. It is located at 12500 East Highway 21, Kurten, Brazos County, Texas at the intersection of State Highway 21 and FM Road 2038. You may speak to a representative by phoning 979-589-2407.

First State Bank of Bedias has a rich past and now moves toward the future by providing the convenience of leading edge technology. Through online banking you can manage your accounts, view recent account statements, view images of paid items, and retrieve a number of essential banking forms. Participants enrolled in our E-Statement service are allowed secure internet access to monthly account statements that can be viewed, printed, or downloaded for future use. The Bank will promptly email monthly notification of statement availability. You may also choose to access your account information through our 24 hour automated telephone banking system by dialing 936-395-0200 (Bedias area), 979-589-3525 (Kurten area) or toll free 1-866-661-3911.
