Overview:

SINCE 1906 BURTON STATE BANK
has offered the citizens of Burton and the surrounding area the quality, professional services you would expect from a full service bank.

The Bank was organized by 18 gentlemen who joined together to purchase 100 shares of stock at $100 per share in May of 1906. The resulting $10,000 was the beginning of a successful financial venture for shareholders and customers of the Bank.

Burton State Bank received a charter from the State Banking Department on May 18, 1906 and is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

In 1965 the bank moved from its original location to its present site at 515 North Main. In April 1999, the Bank completed an extensive re-modeling project to meet the demands created by its continued growth.
