Inwood National Bank

Overview:

Inwood National Bank was founded in 1964 and was originally located at 5411 Lovers Lane. Since that time, Dallas has grown substantially and Inwood Bank has moved right along with it. The bank has grown from its initial $650,000 and one location to over $1 Billion and 15 locations serving the Metroplex and surrounding communities. Although the bank continues to grow, our sense of community and dedication to the needs of our customers remains paramount. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and please contact any member of our organization to see how Inwood Bank can serve you with all the conveniences of a modern bank, but with personal service so often forgotten by other institutions.
History:

Inwood National Bank was organized on April 9, 1964, and was originally located in a small building at 5411 Lovers Lane. By 1968 the bank had outgrown that facility and moved to its present facility, a four story, 45,000 square foot building, located at 7621 Inwood Road.

Today, Inwood National Bank is an independent, locally owned, community bank with fifteen (15) banking offices located throughout North Texas. In addition to our main office at 7621 Inwood Road, we have additional branches in the Oaklawn, Galleria and Pleasant Grove areas, as well as branches in the communities of Commerce, Denton, DeSoto, Duncanville, Garland, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, and Wylie. Inwood has grown from its beginning in 1964 to one of the largest independent community banks in Dallas--closing the year 2005 with $1,125 million in assets and $110 million in equity capital.

Inwood has developed a niche in the market focusing on wholesale banking and on developing a strong working relationship with its customers. Inwood is a leader among community banks in the Metroplex based on its strong capital position and its staff of banking professionals.
