Lamar National Bank was chartered in 1981 with the purpose of maximizing a return on investment to its shareholders in a manner conducive to regulatory requirements and maintenance of the safety and soundness of the institution. Although our goal is to maximize bank earnings over the long-term we will always maintain a conservative management philosophy and are prepared to sacrifice short-term earnings for financial strength and stability. Our bank is a responsible citizen and business leader of the community.

Our officers and employees are encouraged to become involved in community affairs and assume leadership roles whenever possible. We feel that we have an adequate Community Re-Investment Act policy and are mindful of opportunities to better serve the citizens of Paris and Lamar County.
