Rustic Canyon / Fontis Partners, LP (RC/ Fontis) is a Southern California-based private equity fund, investing principally in companies in the Southwest with sales between $10MM and $100MM. The fund has particular expertise in the rapidly-growing US Hispanic market, as well as other ethnic markets. Our objective is simple…grow equity value through responsive collaboration.

Rustic Canyon/ Fontis Partners is affiliated with Rustic Canyon Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm with over $800M under management. Rustic’s participation expands our network and broadens our resources even further.

Building Equity Value
RC/ Fontis’ financial goal is equity appreciation. Our compensation is primarily a function of the equity returns that we generate for our investors.

We expect to make no more than five new investments per year. Because we believe that successes are made, not picked, this selective approach allows us to devote the time necessary for the building process. Since building long-term value requires sustained effort, RC/ Fontis represents relatively patient capital. We expect the typical holding period of our most successful investments to be between three to five years.

We earn management's respect by being a creative and flexible partner who understands that time is precious and speed is essential. More than only a source of capital, we endeavor to be the source that management calls first when seeking advice and support. Our principals have a unique combination of operating and financial experience. This expertise enables us to assist management in the development of strategic business and marketing plans, raising new equity or other capital, negotiating strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, recruiting management, and working with key customers and suppliers.
