Vision:

The vision of Community Bank & Trust is to be a locally owned financial services provider that is profitable and well-capitalized and serving Central Texas with integrity and pride.

History:

Community Bank & Trust was founded in 1952, as a customer-oriented, convenient bank with a concentration on the needs of small businesses and consumers. Our founders made this vision a reality through friendly, innovative lending practices that are still in practice today. Face to face contact with our customers is the cornerstone of our bank. Today that cornerstone is enhanced through other options open to our customers such as Internet banking (Option On-Line), 24 hour telephone customer service (Option 24) and other technological enhancements. However, we always encourage our customers to come see us personally.

As Waco, Texas' oldest locally owned, independent bank, when we state, "We're Still Community", we are confirming the stability of our name, management and ownership. Over the years our name may have changed slightly (Community State Bank to Community Bank & Trust), butour commitment to our customers has steadfastly remained the same.

Our goal is to be the locally owned bank in which Central Texans place their confidence and trust. In 1993, we added Trust and Investment Services to our banking portfolio to provide additional financial options for our customers. This is just one more service we provide to our customers to build on the relationships that are so important and last for many years. Our Trust Department has the reputation among CPAs, attorneys, and even among other local bankers, as the finest in Central Texas. Our Trust Officers have over 155 years combined experience in Trust matters and manage well over $350 million in Trust Assets.

At Community Bank & Trust, our Mission Statement is "Serving Beyond Expectations." By making this statement we are making a pledge to customers that our core purpose is "To provide quality financial services with excellence and professionalism to Central Texans".

We are involved in our community and strive to live up to our name at Community Bank & Trust. Employees and officers are encouraged and supported for their civic involvement and volunteer efforts in our community.
