Overview:

First National Bank of Winnsboro gives back to the community every day. A scholarship program is sponsored each year for graduating seniors from Winnsboro and Winona High Schools. The bank provides book covers, an annual trip for graduating high school students, “Banking Is” curriculum and Pays for A’s awards. The local schools are supported by providing T-shirts for various events including track and field day, Little Dribblers, baseball, softball, football teams and the Police Department WORK camps.

Employees can be seen around the community as they volunteer their time to the Boy Scouts, Raider Pride, youth sports, Volunteer Fire Dept., Cemetery boards, Rotary Club, Civic Club and Winnsboro Area Chamber of Commerce to name a few. Employees also take time during the day to lecture and mentor at the schools.

Another way the bank gives back to the community is the annual Customer Appreciation Barbecue. It is a special way to thank bank customers. The event is held in the fall and over 600 people are served barbecue and entertained in the bank parking lot.

First National Bank of Winnsboro shows a commitment to the community and remembers our military troops during this difficult time in the history of our nation.
