History:

The firm is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. It was founded by Chauncey H. Dean in 1965 as an accounting and financial management company and became the foundation of our first business group, Dean Financial Services. Since then Dean Financial Services has grown into Wealth Management, Investment Consulting, Pension Consulting and Medical Practice Management to a broad client base.

In response to a changing investment environment, Dean Investments was formed in 1972. Offering multiple styles based on a value investing philosophy, Dean Investments has a regional and national client base.

In 2001, our founder retired and the day-to-day leadership of the firm was entrusted to a team of senior managers, headed by Stephen M. Miller.
