Bank of Oak Ridge is a community bank with locations in Greensboro, Summerfield and Oak Ridge, North Carolina. The bank was established in 2000 with the goal of delivering Banking As It Should Be. With a focus on providing personal attention and convenience for every client, we offer a complete range of banking services for individuals and businesses including Saturday and extended weekday hours at all branches, no-fee ATM usage world-wide, remote deposits for businesses, and a full line of checking accounts, savings accounts, mortgage services, lending options, and wealth management services.

We are proud to have been the first bank in North Carolina to offer Health Savings Accounts, and continue to seek new and innovative services and products we can offer our clients.

Bank of Oak Ridge stands deeply rooted in the communities it serves. The bank supports many local civic organizations and participates in events such as Summerfield’s Founder’s Day, Amy Elizabeth Disney Golf Tournament, The Carolina Blues Festival, Oak Ridge Wealth Management’s Gate City Executive Challenge golf tournament, and the Women’s Only 5k Walk & Run to raise funds for local mammograms. Each year, holiday donations are collected at each branch to benefit local children.

We recognize that as a community bank, we have a responsibility to encourage local business growth and help individuals still reach for their dreams. To that end, our bank also helped launch new small businesses by providing $20,000 to the UNC-G Micro-Loan Fund.
