History:

Key firm milestones to date include:
    2003 - Established a joint venture with Morgan Creek Capital Management, a registered investment advisor that provides investment management and advisory services based on the University Endowment Model of portfolio management

    2004 - Launched the first of our multi-strategy funds, which are designed to replicate the alternatives allocation of the nation's largest and most successful university endowments

    2007 - was branded in anticipation of forming additional joint ventures to create new fund offerings to be managed by Hatteras Capital Investment Management. Hatteras' first JV partnership, Hatteras Investment Partners, continues to manage the multi-strategy funds

    2008 - launched a late-stage venture capital fund to offer access to late stage, venture-backed companies formed through co-investments with top-tier sponsors

    2008 - established a joint venture with Capvent, a premier global private equity investment firm, with a strong focus on Europe, India and China

    2009 - launched global private equity funds of funds to offer diversified exposure to institutional-quality private equity investments on a global basis

    2009 - launched a VC co-investment fund to provide the ability to make direct company investments in venture-backed companies alongside experienced venture capital firms

    2009 - established a joint venture with Ramius Fund of Funds Group LLC, an investment advisor that provides discretionary investment management services to U.S. and international clients in the alternative investment space

    2009 - acquired Alternative Investment Partners, a provider of open end mutual funds of hedge fund strategies
