Overview:

Security State Bank of Warroad will soon celebrate its 100th anniversary! In September 1912, Security State Bank was incorporated and opened its doors as one of 17 banks in Roseau County. The President was W. E. Dickerson and bank assets were $18,600. H. M. Heneman joined the bank in 1918 and assumed the presidency in 1943. His son, John R. Heneman,took over the presidency in 1968. The third generation is now represented as Roderick J. Heneman became president in 2006, with John R. Heneman continuing as Chairman of the Board. Security State Bank has grown and expanded over the years, and now has assets exceeding $77,000,000.

There has been much progress and many changes since 1912, both for Warroad and Security State Bank. However, there is one constant. Security State Bank of Warroad is proud to be an independent community bank, and remains firm in our commitment to our customers, to our local businesses, and to the community of Warroad.
