MAGIS Private Wealth Management, LLC ("MAGIS") is a fee-based, private wealth management firm that never works on commission. MAGIS is a registered investment advisor under the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and provides wealth management and consulting services. An investment advisor disclosure document is available upon request. MAGIS is owned and operated by Lars D. Larsen MS, AAMS.

Wealth Management Services
MAGIS specializes in the art of custom-crafting wealth management plans, Investment Policy Statements ("IPS") and portfolios for clients based on listening to their goals, needs, values and vision of their ideal retirement. I believe it is impossible to manage wealth without having an IPS let alone one that is similar for most clients. My firm is completely different from traditional financial services firms. I do not take your age and subtract from 100 and then place you in some pre-designed portfolio. I believe that approach is the theatre of the absurd and partially why so many people have experienced devastating results in their portfolios since March 2000. Traditional financial services firms have business models that are based on obtaining large numbers of clients and putting them in one of a few asset allocation plans given to them by "corporate." This is like saying people can only live in a 1,600 square foot ranch house with three bedrooms and one bathroom with a one car garage. And then only give the options of adding another bathroom, adding a patio or making it a two car garage. It is the mindless automaton approach to wealth management.
