Fox River State Bank has found itself a prominent driving force among banks in Burlington. The original founders of the bank had a vision of what a bank should provide for the community it serves. History:

Two local women’s dream of leaving the impersonal corporate banking environment and starting their own true community based bank began in 2001. After gathering $9.7 million start-up capital from local investors, appointing 11 local directors, remodeling the old Epping car dealership, and employing 13 people, they were well on their way to fulfilling this dream. Fox River State Bank opened its' doors August 15, 2003 with overwhelming acceptance and support from the community.

We take great pride in the success we’ve achieved over the past years. This continued success results from the hard work and dedication of many people. The people of Fox River State Bank have created the “experience” that has become Fox River State Bank.
