Liberty National Bank

Overview:

As the old adage goes, “with every cloud, there is a silver lining”. In these uncertain economic times in which people are concerned about the security of their finances and their financial institutions, that “silver lining” is a community bank. I am very pleased and proud to say that Liberty National Bank is a community bank which is safe, secure, stable and strong for shareholders and customers.

In June of 2008, Liberty National Bank completed a capital fund drive to purchase Valley Bank (National Association) of Elk Point, SD. Valley Bank was merged into Liberty National Bank in October of 2008, creating a $170 million community bank that serves its customers in seven locations along the I-29 growth corridor from Sioux City to Sioux Falls.

Liberty National Bank, from its inception in 2003, was created as a community bank to:
focus on the needs of local families, businesses and farmers;
channel deposits generated in our communities to loans in neighborhoods in which our depositors live and work, helping our communities grow and prosper;
provide experienced community bank employees who are available to customers in the communities in which they serve and live. Liberty National Bank employees are community bank employees by choice—they want to know you, your family and your business so that they can provide the service you expect and deserve;
become deeply involved in local community organizations and projects.
provide quick decision-making and turn-around for customers. As a community bank, Liberty National Bank is able to make decisions based upon individual regard and circumstances. We DO consider character, integrity and family history, in addition to impersonal qualification criteria, such as credit scores, etc.
Understand the needs of small businesses and farm owners. It should be noted that community banks are, themselves, small businesses.

Today, the value and importance of community banks rings loud and clear. If you are a current customer of Liberty National Bank, we look forward to continuing to serve you. If you are a “big bank” customer and are looking for an alternative, we would appreciate the opportunity to show you what makes a community bank work and why it will work for you.

Stop by Liberty National Bank and "Feel the Power of a Community Bank"!
