Bank of Bolivar

History:

*April, 1997 - Bank of Bolivar begins operations from a humble facility in Bolivar, Missouri, with $3 million in capital and a bold idea: to be the best bank in the area by hiring local people with a focus on superior products and exceptional customer service. The 25 investors who banded together behind that vision were mostly located in and around Polk County, Missouri, allowing for local control and decision-making.

*October, 1999 - Bank of Bolivar opens a full-service banking center in Fair Grove, Missouri, to better serve our clients in Greene, Dallas, and Polk Counties.

*May, 2005 - for greater convenience to customers in our hometown, BOB (as we are often known) opens a second full-service banking center in Bolivar, on the west side of town.

*October, 2007 - Bank of Bolivar opens its fourth full-service banking center, at 2945 E. Chestnut Expressway in Springfield. Realizing that many existing customers shop or work in Springfield, BOB's newest facility allows them to bank more conveniently there. It also allows existing Springfield residents and businesses the opportunity to experience the distinct community banking advantage that Bank of Bolivar is famous for.

*December, 2008 - Bank of Bolivar purchases an existing banking facility and relocates its Springfield branch across the road there, at 2920 E. Chestnut Expressway. This acquisition provides drive-through lanes, a drive-up ATM, greater lobby space, and more parking for our customers.
