History:

With a branch in Saint Robert, Missouri and a handful of employees, First State Bank began serving the banking needs of the Saint Robert and Waynesville community along the Historic Route 66, in 1964, as First National Bank. And although the name has since changed to First State Bank, the values that founded this bank remain unchanged - a locally owned institution operated for the benefit of the people of not only Pulaski County but our neighboring counties as well. First State Bank was the FIRST Bank in Saint Robert, and as Saint Robert grew, so did the bank.

Today, almost half a century later, First State Bank continues to thrive and expand our line-up of products, services and delivery systems. We boast two additional branches in Richland, MO and Iberia, MO. And although we may be the oldest bank in Saint Robert, our technology is state-of-the-art.

We were the FIRST Bank to have an ATM in Pulaski County, we have (13) ATM locations, (10) drive-thru lanes and longer operating hours than other banks, which means greater convenience for our customers. In addition, we offer 24/7 banking with our free on-line banking, bill pay, and telephone banking.
