Vision:

Stüssi-Neves Advogados was founded in March 1988, as the result of a split-off from a firm which was created in November 1977. In the year 2007, therefore, it will be commemorating 30 years of legal tradition in Brazil.

Stüssi-Neves Advogados renders legal assistance and consulting services, including administrative and judicial litigation, to corporate entities and individuals, whether Brazilian or foreign.

The firm’s lawyers are all specialists in their respective areas, and participate in permanent training programmes in Brazil and abroad. They also take part every year in various professional events locally and overseas.

The firm’s clients include important international economic groups with large-scale activities in Brazil, some of whom have used the services of the office since its earliest days.

Stüssi-Neves Advogados has offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and is also active throughout practically the whole of Brazil, through reputable agents in other cities.

Through IGAL (Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers) Stüssi-Neves Advogados is represented in 120 cities throughout the world.

The firm and its members participate in various other national and international organisations, such as: the Brazilian Bar Association; IAB (Institute of Brazilian Lawyers); German, Swiss, American and Dutch Chambers of Commerce and Austrian Commercial Delegation; IBA (International Bar Association); AIJA (International Young Lawyers’ Association); DBJV (German-Brazilian Lawyers’ Association); ACRJ (Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro); CESA (Law Firms’ Studies Centre); ABDI (Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications Law); ABDF (Brazilian Association of Financial Law); and IFA (International Fiscal Association).

Stüssi-Neves Advogados also participates in permanent exchange and training programmes for students and young lawyers. In this respect, particular mention should be made of the “Referendarzeit” training programme for German lawyers.

All members of the firm are fluent in English, and many also in German. We are also able to correspond in Dutch, Spanish and French.
