JRF Asset Advisors, LLC is an independent, full-service, financial advisory firm providing customized services to our clients since 1986.

Investment planning

We complete a full assessment of your needs and existing wealth. We establish an asset allocation policy for you and ensure sufficient diversification. We continually track and monitor your portfolio in relation to both your goals and objectives and industry benchmarks. Our goal is to maximize returns within your goals and constraints, minimize the effects of income taxes and inflation, and manage the risk and liabilities inherent in a securities portfolio.

Retirement planning

Transitioning from earned income to investment portfolio income can be a difficult psychological shift for many individuals. We assist in determining appropriate income sources, outline optimal distribution strategies and assist you in making important pre-retirement decisions, such as IRA rollovers, lump sum vs. annuity elections and survivor pension options.

Estate planning

We assist with all facets of estate planning, including outlining action steps and acting as liaison between clients and lawyers to ease communication and ensure client needs are met. We seek to minimize taxes and maximize the estate for your heirs. We also coordinate the details of an estate, including beneficiary designations, titling of assets and transfer of the family business.

Tax planning

Our extensive tax experience enables us to fully incorporate your tax status with all the other critical financial planning areas. Implementing investment and retirement planning strategies without fully understanding the tax effect of such strategies can cause significant problems and tax liabilities for the client.

Insurance planning

We assist clients in understanding the correct amount and type of insurance needed to keep a clients' net worth in place. We review all insurance needs including life, disability, health and business liability.

Other planning areas

Our goal is to fully understand the clients financial situation and ensure that they have a solid plan in place to meet their goals. Therefore, we also provide college planning, business succession planning and charitable giving.
