Overview:

Stuyvesant Capital Management is an independent investment advisory firm located in Armonk, NY. The firm was co-founded in 1978 by Donald O. vonWedel and John B. Cooper. Both founders are Chartered Financial Analysts and members of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.

Over the past 30 years, the firm has served as investment advisors to institutions and high net worth individuals. Presently we have over $163.5 million in assets under management. Our clients include profit-sharing and 401-K plans, IRA’s, Taft Hartley defined benefit, annuity and welfare plans, charitable trusts and endowments. We manage equity only and balanced portfolios. We also offer a global Macro Alternative Investment partnership.
Stuyvesant is proud of its long history of consistent performance, as well as the excellent client service the firm provides. We work with each new client and their advisors/trustees to clarify their financial goals and risk tolerance so we can construct a customized flexible investment program. We build long term relationships through frequent client contact. We get to know our client’s needs by working closely with them so we can adjust portfolios accordingly. Many of our clients have been with our firm since inception.
