Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., "BWB" is a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, with offices in Jamestown, Olean and Orchard Park, New York. Our current staff consists of over fifty-five professionals, including twenty-five Certified Public Accountants.
We serve as accountants and advisors to businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout the United States. We are currently the largest CPA firm in Southwestern New York.
Thanks to the confidence that our clients have shown in us, our firm continues to expand both in people and capabilities. The strength of any professional services firm is it's staff and we have a great team to service each of our client's accounting and consulting needs. |

History:
Francis J. Weinaug founded the firm in Olean, New York in 1971. The firm experienced steady growth and opened a second office in Jamestown, New York in 1978.
In 1993, the firm merged with John F. Whipple, Jr., CPA. In February 1999, the firm acquired GFC Business Systems, a full-service payroll company providing payroll services to clients around the country; in August 2004 the firm formed the multi-faceted business and consulting affiliate, Vineyard Group, LLC. In December 2007, Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C. merged and combined practices with Lloyd and Company, C.P.A., P.C. of Jamestown, NY. In the fall of 2008, the opened it's third office location in Orchard Park, NY. Our growth can be attributed to an ability to hire quality people who share a strong commitment to maintain a reputable firm that is recognized as responsible by the profession, clients, and the region's business community. |
