Overview: 

The Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants has been working to strengthen the accounting profession in Vermont for over 75 years. Today, the VTCPA has grown to include a diverse membership of nearly 800 members in public practice, business and industry, government and education.

The VTCPA office is located in the capital city of Montpelier in central Vermont. Our purpose is to promote, protect, and represent the interests of our members and the profession while fostering the highest ethical standards.

We are active in the state legislature, monitoring and responding to issues that affect CPAs and their clients. We have been successful in getting important legislation passed and regularly provide testimony, support and advice on legislative and regulatory issues of interest to our membership.

We offer over 40 top notch CPE programs per year delivering quality education to our members in both public accounting and industry. Our aim is to provide our members with the tools and information they need to increase their value to the clients, organizations and employers they serve.
