History:

Kaufman Diamond and Company was founded in 1975 by Morton R. Kaufman. Formerly a partner of Benjamin Bateman and Company in Newark he set out to build his own firm. He established an office in Metuchen, New Jersey as a sole proprietor with his wife Rose Kaufman as his administrative assistant. A short time later, Richard P. Diamond, a former employee of Benjamin Bateman and Company joined Morty and the firm of Kaufman Diamond and Company was established.

Morty's many years of experience in public accounting and Rich; with experience in both public and private accounting; set up a partnership to tackle even the most challenging accounting and tax issues. Both Morty and Rich are retired now, but their spirit and principles continue to inspire everyone at the firm.

In 1983 Daniel R. Meyler joined the firm. A graduate of Rutgers University and a CPA, Dan also holds licences in Life, Health, Property and Casulty Insurance. As a member of the firm for over thirty years, Dan has worked in every aspect of accounting and tax preparation for the firm and has served almost every client. He is currently the managing partner.

John Perez joined the firm in 1985. John is a Rutgers University graduate and a CPA. As a member of the firm for over thirty years, John has experience in all facets of accounting and tax preparation and has also served most of the firm's clients. John is currently a partner in the firm.

Betty Stalowski joined the firm in 1988 as an administrative assistant. She came to the firm with many year's experince in public accounting. Her experience brings great value to our clients.

Ryan Conrad joined the firm in 2016. Ryan is a graduate of Kean University. He has both a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Accounting. Ryan brings great skills to the firm and is available to help clients with their accounting and tax requirements.
