The business was established in 1988 by Willem Kooyker who continues as its Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Blenheim’s primary business is to provide investment management services to its clients in the commodity and financial markets worldwide.

Blenheim employs a staff of approximately 50 people in the United States, including portfolio managers, research analysts and administrative personnel in its offices in New Jersey and New York. A research office was established in London in 2008. In 2012, an affiliated office opened in Amsterdam, headed by Gerlof de Vrij as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer.

Blenheim is registered as a Commodity Pool Operator and Commodity Trading Advisor with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and a member of the National Futures Association.
