We are a credit union…or a financial co-operative. We are democratically owned and controlled by our members. Our focus is on you, our member. As a member and owner of Prosperity ONE, you have a direct influence in the direction of our credit union and share in the profits we make. Credit unions, like other financial institutions, are closely regulated. In Ontario, all eligible deposits are insured by the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario* (DICO) for up to $100,000 per depositor.

To provide quality, competitive financial products and services, while maintaining an active, contributory role in the communities we serve.

History:

In 1957, we began with a partnership of 20 members who shared $9,910 in assets from a classroom at Holy Rosary School in Milton. Today, we have grown to be a secure and dedicated alternative to the big banks, working with over 10,000 members to help them achieve their financial dreams.
