History:
DFPG is owned and managed by producing representatives who have many years of experience in the independent broker/dealer and investment advisory industry. We understand what representatives and advisors need and want. The financial services industry continues to trend and consolidate into larger broker/dealers and investment advisory firms. We commonly speak to representatives who complain that broker/dealers are shying away from alternative investments. Investment advisors are concerned that their broker/dealers are restricting their independent RIA practices. Their voices are frequently falling upon deaf ears, leaving representatives and advisors who are no longer getting the service, products, or education they need to effectively grow their practices.
DFPG was founded with a commitment to setting a new standard for the independent broker/dealer and Hybrid RIA model. We have developed a unique structure that combines traditional products with a robust alternative products platform. We understand the importance of a broker/dealer that will support the Hybrid RIA. Offering both an efficient fee-based and commission-based platform is crucial to the future success of representatives and advisors.
