Overview:

CRS Consultants Limited was formed in 1977 by Clive Steggel in Northwich, Cheshire. Clive has built up CRS by giving his clients, many of whom have become his close friends, professional financial advice and insurance services. The CRS Team are based in historic offices in Northwich next to the new Marina. We provide advice to our local clients in Cheshire, the surrounding counties, and throughout the UK.

At CRS Consultants Ltd we now oversee just under £200 million worth of assets and are committed to delivering an exceptional service to our clients.

The experienced Financial Consultants are supported by a committed Client Manager and Administration Team.

Our Consultants undertake a regular and ongoing programme of ‘continuous professional development’ to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills across all financial planning areas.

All our services are tailored to individual requirements providing a personal approach to a complex financial world.

History:

In 1977, after working for various assurance companies and brokers, Clive decided to start his own firm of Insurance Brokers and Independent Financial Advisers in Northwich.

The first premises were known affectionately as the shack (opposite the Regal Cinema) moving a couple of years later to 10 The Bull Ring. Then in 1985 moving to the current premises of Parrs Bank Buildings.

Considerable work was undertaken on Parrs Bank Buildings premises during the late eighties, in fact the whole building was lifted over 4 feet using the old fashioned lifting methods. Various jacks, pumps and manifolds were supplied by the Brine Board which are all now on display at the local Salt Museum. Parrs Bank Buildings was the last building to be lifted in Northwich and Clive can tell many interesting stories of this event.

CRS Consultants has over the years developed more modern methods, initially becoming computerised in 1979!

The firm has been a limited company since 1st December 2007 and continues to enjoy steady growth.

Now in his 39th Year, Clive is still as keen as ever to provide sound advice to all clients.
