Ian Jones Insurance Brokers

History:

Ian Jones commenced his career in insurance in March 1987 at which time he worked as an agent with Capita Financial Services, dealing in Life Insurance, Sickness and Accident Insurance and Superannuation products. In 1989, the year of the Newcastle earthquake, Ian had began to offer the services of General Insurance and became what was then called a multi-agent, thus representing a number of general insurers and their products to clients.
As a result of the earthquake Ian had first-hand experience of the true value of property insurance and the devastating effect that a disaster can bring to a community. This is what is to be thought ‘the true calling insurance company – claim time’. Many, many years have passed since that time and the understanding of just how important insurance is has never faltered. In current form and as an ASIC registered insurance broker for the past 16 years, Ian Jones Insurance Brokers now place business with over 70 licensed Insurance Companies and Underwriting Agencies and over those years we have amassed vast knowledge of a wide variety of insurances suited for a hugely diverse range of businesses, both small and large.
