REPEX & CO., INC. is an investment brokerage firm that works closely with our clients on a personal one-on-one basis. The firm’s executives are directly accessible and responsive to their clients. We clear all trades through J. P. Morgan Clearing Corp.
REPEX INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT CO., INC. is a registered investment advisor. Investments are managed with your goals and objectives in mind. Together, we plan for your children’s education, your retirement, facilitate the switching out of 401(k) pension plans into IRA Rollovers for greater flexibility and investment options when you change jobs or retire.
Depending on your financials and tolerance for risk, we manage investments conservatively for growth using mid- and large capitalization stocks. We may balance a portfolio with fixed income securities to achieve the appropriate asset mix. On retirement, we see that checks are mailed to you according to mutually agreed upon monthly distributions. We do not use margin. We charge a fee for our services.
Corporate Pension Plans are managed with comparable investment objectives, since behind every Plan is an employee and potential retiree. |

History:
The origin of the family business started on August 22, 1923, as a bank in the Free City of Danzig (Europe) by Boris Sokolower, then 25 years old, and a member of the Danzig Stock Exchange, until the beginning of World War II. His son, Erich Sokolower, joined the investment firm of Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. in 1961. In 1981, he founded Repex & Co., Inc., a stockbroker and investment firm in Closter, Bergen County, Northern New Jersey, that has evolved to this date. Repex Investment Management Co., Inc., an affiliate, is an asset manager and registered investment advisor.
Erich Sokolower, 84, graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, 1948, and holds a M.S. in Engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering, 1971. He is Managing Director of Repex & Co., Inc.and its affiliate money manager Repex Investment Management Co., Inc
David Sokolower, 45, graduated from New York University, Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance, 1989. He joined Repex in 1989. He has been President of the Firm since 1995 and President of its affiliate Repex Investment Mangement Co., Inc. since 2002. David is the son of Erich Sokolower.
William Holzer, 65, graduated from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Engineering, 1970, and Pace University with an MBA in Accounting, 1973. Mr. Holzer is the Compliance Officer and an Equity and Options Principal of the Firm. He joined Repex in 1985.
All of the above individuals actively interact with the clients of the Firm and manage accounts. |
