Acumen Accountants and Advisors is one of the largest independent accountancy firms of choice in Scotland. With our many years of friendly and professional experience we are constantly expanding locally and across the country, in various industry sectors.

Formed in the North-east of Scotland over 25 years ago, we now have four accountancy practices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Peterhead and Tillicoultry. Employing approximately 60 members of staff in total, who on average have been with the firm for over 10 years. Acumen provide an element of continuity that is hard to beat.

Servicing over 1,700 clients, our range of services are bespoke and built around the needs of the small and medium owner managed business and although we are a general practice at heart, we have built up a wide spectrum of industry specific knowledge.

Having our main office in Aberdeen means we have a real insight into the oil and gas support industry, in recruitment, property development and the contractor market. Other areas of expertise include manufacturing, import and export, medical and health. Supported by a highly experienced and qualified tax department we ensure the best value possible for business as well as personal clients.
