Welcome to the Talk Independent website, where we do more than just talk about our independence, we make it work for you. This is important to our clients, because they need to know that our total focus in on them; we do not answer to any insurance company or investment manager. We are able to spend time to:

Consider the best way of meeting your current requirements and objectives;

Identify the most suitable solutions for you;

Arrange whatever plans are necessary – and practical – for you; and then

Provide an on-going review programme for you.

Jeremy Grigg, Director of Talk Independent is qualified to advise on most major aspects of financial planning and mortgages and has more than 20 years’ experience of helping clients to plan for their financial future. He formed the company in 2001, after sixteen years with a major insurance company.

Like any professional, we need to be paid for our services. We can usually agree that our fees are paid out of commission generated by any products we may arrange and manage on your behalf. If, however, you prefer to pay entirely by fees we can accommodate this. Some clients prefer a combination of the two, with commission being used partly to offset any agreed fees. Please ask us for further information.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. We do not normally charge a fee for mortgage advice. However, we are required to offer you the option of paying one if you prefer to do so. The precise amount of the fee would depend upon your circumstances but we estimate that on a mortgage of up to £100,000 it would be £500.
