KMD Associates are independent financial advisers specialising in corporate employee benefit consultancy and personal financial planning to individuals.

KMD Associates provide impartial advice to individual and corporate clients. As professional consultants we promote a fee based approach to the provision of independent advice and we can retain commission to offset fees. If preferred we can discuss the possibility of working on a commission only basis.

We pride ourselves on our independence and impartiality plus our commitment to providing a high quality tailored service to all our clients. We are not tied to any agent or any particular product and have the expertise and resources to provide a bespoke personalised service.

We are contracted to a specialist support company and employ the services of an independent research company with no ties to particular product providers. In addition we conduct computerised product research to draw up a shortlist of potential providers. We subscribe to a programme of continous training and competency.

We provide a full range of personal financial planning services with the focus being in the following areas of advice:
lump sum investments
personal pensions
retirement planning
pension tranfers
capped drawdown and flexible drawdown
life cover
regular savings
individual savings accounts

For corporate clients we provide advice in the following key areas:
group personal pensions
stakeholder pensions
occupational pensions
group life cover
group income protection

History:

Ken Donald established KMD Associates in January 2001 after a career working with two of the leading actuarial consultancies in the UK namely Watson Wyatt and Mercers. He is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society (http://www.thepfs.org/) and a Chartered Financial Planner.
