Established in 1918, we have been giving insurance advice and guidance to the local community for almost 100 years.

We have a wealth of technical experience and our qualified advisors take the time to understand the individual needs of our customers.

We appreciate that our customers are individual and unique, each with their own different requirements. We are able to offer advice on a wide variety of products for both personal and business customers – from insurance for farms to car, home and tradesman insurance. Whatever your requirements are, Border Counties will be on hand to offer professional guidance, advice and cost effective solutions.

History:

Border Counties have been providing advice and guidance on quality insurance products for the local community for almost 100 years.

Established in 1918, originally as a farmer’s mutual, we supplied farmers with veterinary services and farm feeds as well as insurance products.

More recently we have focused on insurance services and our clients are located all across Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria and North Yorkshire.

Whilst farm insurance is still very much an area in which we specialise, we can also handle all types of general insurance for businesses and individuals, such as property insurance, liability, home and motor insurance and the like.

LOCAL SERVICE – NATIONAL STRENGTH

In 2010 we became part of the larger Cullum Capital Ventures group (CCV) who are one of the largest independently owned insurance intermediaries in the UK. Whilst still retaining our local identity, we are able to take advantage of the considerable benefits the connection brings for our customers. This includes access to more specialist facilities and resources and increased buying power when negotiating with insurers.

With the support of CCV we can offer our clients a credible, more personal alternative to traditional multinational broking houses.
