Farmers State Bank was opened in 1921 and just celebrated over 80 years of service to the North Central Iowa communities of Grafton, Joice, Mason City, Northwood, Plymouth, St. Ansgar and Ventura. With banking offices in seven communities, we are conveniently positioned to serve you in any or all of our bank locations!

Farmers State Bank is a true independent community bank that is owned and operated by individuals who grew up in the farming area of Northern Iowa and have strong ties to the "Community Bank Concept." We make our decisions locally within our own bank, and we stand behind them! Our knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced team of staff members genuinely care about each customer and their financial needs.

11/15/1921 Institution established. Original name: Farmers State Bank
2/1/1992 Acquired The Farmers Savings Bank in Joice, Iowa.
3/20/1996 Moved bank headquarters from Grafton, Iowa to Northwood, Iowa.
