Overview:
The Royal Bank of Scotland Berhad (RBS), had recently finalised the purchase of ABN AMRO, making the latter part of the RBS Group. Following an approval from the Central Bank of Malaysia, the ABN AMRO brand is now succeeded by RBS.
With the acquisition, RBS aims to create a leading retail, corporate and institutional bank in Asia and is confident of offering significant benefits to its clients in Malaysia.
