Mission statement:

Malheur Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member owned financial institution dedicated to providing members with financial alternatives.

Although you may use us for Banking Services, a Credit Union is NOT the same because:

   * We’re Member Owned – That’s You
   * Volunteer Board of Directors – Elected by You, the Members
   * Not for Profit – Financial Cooperative
   * Democratically Controlled – One Member/One Vote

Overview:

We all lead busy lives and have hectic schedules. Sometimes there's simply not enough hours in a day to make all our appointed rounds! That's why Malheur Federal Credit Union offers the convenience and flexibility of 24 hour Internet Teller to our members.

From within our safe and secure Internet Teller section, members are able to:

   * Check account balances
   * Inquire on account history
   * Transfer funds between accounts
   * See which checks have cleared your account
   * Order/reorder checks

History:

Malheur Federal Credit Union was established in 1957 as Malheur Teachers Federal Credit Union in Nyssa, Oregon. We moved to Ontario, Oregon in 1963 and converted to a community charter in l981, so anyone living or working in Malheur County could become a member. In the summer of 2001 we expanded our membership service area to include anyone living or working in Payette County, Idaho. MFCU currently has four locations, two in Ontario, one in Vale, and one in Payette.
