Overview:

Thank you for your interest in Oritani Bank. We are a 99 year old community bank headquartered in the Township of Washington (Bergen County), NJ. We have 22 full service branches in Bergen County, Hudson County and Passaic County, NJ.

Oritani Bank remains in excellent financial condition despite the recent economic turmoil. With the closing of our “second step” equity raise on June 24, 2010 our equity capital has increased by more than $413 Million. This was an important step to consolidate our position as one of New Jersey’s premier community banks and paves the way forward to grow even stronger. Our ongoing expansion and increased asset size will allow us to help more local residents and businesses reach their financial goals.

I am very pleased with our fiscal 2010 results which we announced on August 3, 2010. As of the year ended June 30, 2010 Oritani Financial Corp’s total assets reached $2.48 Billion with $643 Million in equity capital. This equates to a very strong 26% capital ratio which will fuel the Company’s growth for several years to come. We also reported total 2010 revenues of $105 Million up from $88 Million last year and net 2010 earnings of $8.4 Million up from 2009’s $5.6 Million.

Oritani Bank continues to give back to our communities through the OrtaniBank Charitable Foundation. Since 2007, we have donated $1.25 Million to local charitable organizations. The YWCA of Bergen County recently presented the Foundation with a plaque in appreciation of our support, and I was greatly honored to represent the Foundation as a recipient of Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County’s 2010 “Builder of the Year” award.

Our approaching 100th anniversary is testament to our solid business model and the loyalty of our customers and the communities we serve.
