History:

Brown Hamilton Partners had its origin in 1980 when Daryl Brown, CPA set up his part-time Accounting and Taxation practice. As he held a full-time position for 15 years as Accountant/Commercial Manager for a public Company in manufacturing, he sought assistance from an accountant friend to service the business.

It wasn’t until 1996 that he decided to enter into practice full time. The practice grew rapidly with the aid of a Chartered Accounting firm, Ryan, Harvie, McEnery which specializes in Business Development and training. Daryl’s wife, Elaine, had an extensive background in secretarial and office management and provided a perfect fit to assist Daryl in progressing the practice.

Rochelle Hamilton, eldest daughter of Daryl and Elaine, joined the firm in 2002 following her employment with Ernst & Young, one of Australia’s top Accounting firms where her accounting and legal qualifications stood her in good stead as a senior tax consultant.

Nicole Brown, CPA, younger daughter of Daryl and Elaine joined the firm in 2008 having previously worked as senior Management Accountant with Companies such as Lonely Planet Publications and The Just Group.

Daryl Brown Consulting has recently changed its name to Brown Hamilton Partners to incorporate these 4 family members with Daryl and Elaine’s succession planning assured.

Two part-time bookkeepers are contracted and concentrate on Business Activity Statements.

The firm specializes in the development of Small Businesses and with the wealth of business experience can ably assist with the establishment of new businesses as well as assisting them to grow and create wealth.
If we cannot directly assist clients we draw on the extensive knowledge of our alliance partners to ensure they get the best solution for their needs.

We strive to maintain the standards and professionalism that led to those recommendations.
